After School Programs
Our after school for credit programs are designed to enhance the lives of your children through creative and interactive programming that allows individuality and continued growth and development. The following is a list of course offerings that LA Matheson offers outside of the regular timetable. These courses can be selected during our annual course selection process in February / March.

LA Matheson is excited to offer a variety of after school programming through the 91国产 School District Safe Schools and Community Schools departments. Below is a list of programs for the 2017 / 2018 school year.

Equitas Girls Program - Facilitator Taylor Morton | After School community action program for girls in grade 8/9.The program will invite girls to explore their strengths and passions, and investigate community issues. REACH - Facilitator Tyler Lutton | After school recreation career preparation program for high school students. Students given workshops to increase employability in recreation field. Opportunities to receive certification in First Aid, Food Safe, High Five, Super Host. | Tuesdays 3-5pm | Library |
Media Minds - Facilitator Andrea Henriquez Cea | Media Minds is a program by Enactus SFU which partners with local schools to provide a Team-based workshop. Yo-Bro / Yo-Girl - facilitator Joe Calendino | Explore personal potential and decision making through physical engagement. Learn some forms of mixed martial arts while exploring positive personal connections with other students. | Tuesday 3-5pm | Spin Room |
