Automotive Service Technician
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Automotive Service Technician Program is offered in partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Students attend this 21 week program as a class at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary from January to late May, and the month of June on-site at the KPU Tech Campus in Cloverdale. Upon completion of the program, students earn credit for five high school courses, a SkilledTradesBC Certificate of Qualification, and a KPU Certificate of Completion.
Applicants are required to have completed Math 11 with a mark of C or better, English Language Arts 11 and Automotive Technology 11. Physics 11 or a related Science 11 is strongly recommended.
